Hello,
I've been on Prevacid 30 mg Rx'd twice daily now for a few years. Today, when I went to Walgreens, they substituted a generic form called "Lansoprazole" in the same dose. I was under the impression Prevacid didn't make generic (that's also why it was SOOOO expensive). Did that change? Does anyone know? Has anyone had experience or luck with this generic form?
I'm really excited about it cause it will eat up less of my insurance, but not excited if Walgreens just decided to substitute something else and call it good. I'm a-ok with generic though, as long as its the "real" thing and I just didn't think Prevacid did this.
Thanks!
