Hi

i just brought a probiotic and ive been researching and reading old posts on this site and know now to take them 2 hours after antiobitics

well i take fluclox and do colomycin

is colomycin an antibiotic, do i have to take it 2 hours after colo?

Hmmmmm, i didn't know about a two hour rule.. I take Culturelle (over the counter) It seems to help.. <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0"> joni

I think you are ok on that one.

The '2-hr' is a guideline, based upon the fact that you won't accomplish much if the probiotic & antibiotic are in your stomach/small intestines at the same time.

Since colistin is inhaled it is not going to be in your GI tract so you should be fine.
