Prune juice trick

Maggie used to drink prune juice everyday. Now she refuses, just won't drink it. I do try to get fiber in her diet from fruits and veggies which she loves but for some reason prune juice does the trick when she's backed up. My husband suggested mixing prune juice with a little Pepsi or Coke(Maggie loves soda, it a special treat for her when her tummy is upset). I guess when he was a little boy, his mom would do that for him. Anyway, Maggie loves her new"soda". Asks for more of it. Anyway, just a little thought if you're desperate to get your child to drink prune juice.

Another thing you can try is flavored prunes. Look for 'cherry' or other flavored prunes next to the raisins and other dried fruits. They taste great and come in little individual packages inside a bigger bag (about 3 per serving).
