Mom to Haydie, we pretty much went thru the same thing with DS. We began to wonder if it wasn't a cross contamination issue at the clinic lab. He'd always culture it when we went to the lab on CF clinic day, wouldn't culture it on other times.
Recently after 2 1/2 years, he cultured it again. We wonder if it isn't maybe a sinus issue, as a few times when he cultured it in the past he had a stuff nose and he was getting over a head cold late last year when it showed up again.
