My husband and I manage a small resort. My husband is the person who takes care of the pool and it is always spotless. The last 2 times my son went swimming, the next evening he runs 102 temp but by morning it's gone and he is fine. Have any of you had issues with pools? Maybe it's not the pool but I don't know.

I swam competitvely for ten years which put me in all kinds of pools - we also vacationed frequently as well, also resulting in many pools, plus my dad has a pool at his house and we join a public pool in the summer do that my son can be on the swim team, and I never had any trouble - ever. I would think based on the info you provided that it isn't the pool that is the problem. Let us know what you figure out.

I suppose he could be allergic to the chemicals!
I dont know off hand if allergic reactions cause fevers, but I guess anything is possible. The CFF says that properly maintained pools with adequate chlorine shouldnt be problems as far as bacterias.
Maybe those 2 times were just flukes.

My issue with pools is I always get cold. I always get sick after I swim. Always. But this could be a pool, lake, or ocean, or whatever. I always get cold and them I get a stuffy nose and congestion and all that jazz. Good luck!
