I was wondering if anyone has tried both of these and which one worked better. Also can you take them twice a day? im new to this, i dont have CF but did have a Lung transplant and have problems with secretions..

i have tried both and i think that pulmozyme works much, much better! mucomyst is stinky and it did not help my lungs at all. and yes, i take pulmozyme twice a day....

i have never tried mucomyst but i've been on pulmozyme for years. i take it once a day but i've heard of others doing it twice....really depends on what you and your doc think is best for your overall health! some people do have issues with hymoptysis and pulmozyme but i never have....hope that helps!
