Pulmozyme "funny taste

Well, thanks everyone for your thoughts, I have asked my son questions based on some of the replies, but nothing seems to fit. I guess its one of those "hmmm" things. But in the mean time, I will just have to keep a check on it until we can figure it out. Never a dull moment..... <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif" border="0">

I thought of this as well today.

Have you changed how you wash his nebs? If so are you sure you are rinsing them completely and drying them all the way. I know it may seem stupid, but I didn't rinse one of my nebs properly once and there was still soup residue and as soon as I turned the neb on I could tell something wasn't right.

Just another thought.

Mmmmm, mmmmm good! What kind of soup? Chicken noodle? Beef barley? LOL

I know its probably a typo for soap, but it makes me giggle. Hee Hee!

hey i got an idea just now and gonna try it myself with the hypertonic saline because of its saltyness. right before doing your nebs eat a tic tac or strong mint of some kind so you have that taste in your mouth to cover up the nasty taste. Or could you chew gum while doing meds, it would be more difficult because its hard to chew anything with a peice of plastic in your mouth but hey it might work. this may be a stupid idea for some reason but i'm gonna try it.
