Pulmozyme research

We're heading to see our doctor tomorrow, and I want to talk about some information I originally found here regarding the effect of pulmozyme on patients who don't have a lot of mucus in their lungs.

Someone posted a link to a study and I can't for the life of me find it. If anyone can point me in the right direction, I would really appreciate it. I'm sure that the pros outweigh the cons, but I want to make sure I have all the information.

Thanks!

There is probably something on Noexcuses blog site. Check that out, I think there might be a section on Pulmozyme. You might also read her letter from Warwick. There is a section on Pulmozyme. I have used Pulmozyme since I was about 23 and it has been a good thing for me. I had mild CF at the time and it was still a good addition. Pre-pulmozyme, I would get a kind of hoarse voice by the end of the day or "gruffy". I was able to get more up and out, even at a mild stage. Just food for thought.

I just looked: there is a section on noexcuses website under Warwick letter about Pulmozyme and some of the research.

Im not sure if this is this is the link you you were looking for but I did post this for someone awhile back.

Just a side note:
We are looking into doing a trial off period for our daughter from pulmozyme after being on it for a year with no change in pft's and no mucus.
