Pulse Ox Readings

I have to agree with everyone else. The pulse O2 is kind of important, but sometimes it really is just a fluke or something else besides poor O2 levels. If my son is really relaxed or half asleep his O2 drops to like 94-96, but is normally 100. If you're really worried keep an eye out for signs of trouble like cynosis around the mouth or fingernails, difficulty breathing or a general complaint from your son that he doesn't feel well. Give the doctor a call anyway if it will rest your heart. Its probably nothing to worry about. Saying a prayer.

Thanks to everyone for your thoughts on it. I just spoke to the clinic and they want him to come back in within the next week for a re-check on his pulse ox. They agreed that it was low for him since his norm is 99-100, but not a dangerously low level, so we're just going to see if it was a fluke that day or not.
