Put on a Leash

I picked that title because that is how I feel on IV's. I'm on a leash and cant do anything. Anyway, I will be starting home IVs sometime Friday or Saturday. I'm not really looking forward to it, but I'm glad to finally get the help I need. I have been on and off sick since October. Sputum culture has contantly grown out something. I have been on numberous oral abx over the past few months. My Sats have been anywhere from 89-94, coughing has been very productive, no energy with the need of multiple naps a day, quick to become SOB and night sweats. I have had a few times where I coughed up blood but it would stop after a few hours and not happen again for a good while. I will be put on Zosyn and Fortaz (sensitivities from my last culture done 4/7) until my pending sputum culture comes back. I'm look at 2 weeks, maybe more. I'm glad I can do this at home, but just like being in the hospital I will probably stay tired. Hopefully I wont get to rundown. Just wanted to let everyone know. Please keep me in your prayers. Hopefully this will do the trick. I'm tired of feeling bad. I will be glad to start feeling better.
