I think your Grayson and my son go to the same clinic and I have to agree that they are extremely pushy with the weight issue. What's up with that green light/red light handout? I'm not four years old and needing a cute visual reminder that my son is skinny.I get so worked up prior to the appointments to the point of almost throwing up because I know I have to get grilled on the food issue (pun intended). Really, it makes me want to toss some lead weights in his pockets so he would weight an extra pound or two and they would lay off the inquisition.

Wow that sounds alot like our clinic only we don't have a red light/ green light thing, our son is gainig at least an ounce a day which is normal for babies his age but yet they say he needs to catch up. He is going to be tall and skinny just like his dad and thats not cf related. I just wish they would realize that and stop trying to push us. I feel your pain.

Mommafirst, they did have us speed up her feeds at night at one point, however she could not handle that. One night when she stayed at Nana and Pappy's she kept waking up choking and coughing and when I went to her, her poor little tummy was stretched so tight it scared me and then when I sat her up because she was acting like she was choking she was like the exorcist, plus she had a huge blowout all over the bed, it was awful. With her short gut she doesn't seem to be able to handle that much. She is on a high calorie formula and we are now adding pedisure during the day also. All of my granddaughters are small. I am afraid they are pushing her to much and she is a great little eater. Instead of them saying she is doing great, they make us feel like we could do better. IDK. None of my granddaughters are at 50%.
