Question about feeding tubes

Thanks for all the responses. I think we're going to try some other approaches before settling on a feeding tube as a last resort option. I just really don't enjoy the idea of the tube, in part because I sort of worry what it will do to my dating life. Not that I would ever want to date someone who couldn't handle the ups and downs of CF anyway, but I have to admit it's not the most appealing idea to have to reveal to any new prospects that I spend my nights hooked up to a feeding machine. I'm probably being a little oversensitive, I realize, and I really appreciate all the upbeat news from those who have tried the tubes and had success. It makes me feel better to know others out there have had them and still kept on living normal lives.
