Question about metal rings...

Hi, This is my first post on this sort of thing. I am engaged to a man who has CF. And we are wanting to get married this summer. I am concerned because he said that he has had trouble wearing rings in the past because his skin dissolves the metal (I think it was silver, but I'm not sure). Do you guys have any suggestions of metals that would hold up to the pH of individuals with cystic fibrosis? I was thinking maybe white gold, but gold kind of has the tendency of being a softer metal so I wasn't sure if that would work. I would appreciate any advice you guys had on the subject. Thank you.

Hi I'm not sure if it would work for him, but my husbands ring is white gold and he is fine with it. I don't think he had a problem with rings though, it prolly has a lot to do with the individual. Talk to a jeweler maybe or the dr might be able to help. ;o]

Ya silver I eat up as well as any fake metal.

White gold, yellow gold and platinum I do fine with <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">
