Question about Pulmozyme

Nothing new to add: ditto to everyone else

Pulmozyme doesn't usually make a person cough
Hypertonic Saline can, but not always

DS rarely coughs. His nose ran the first time he tried pulmozyme which was a new experience. Once in a great while -- rarely, he sounds like he's bringing up some stuff while doing it.

Thank you all for your responses, it helps to know I have somewhere to turn when I have questions. I still have alot to learn about CF and this is one of the many meds she'll be on in her life. I'll take it day by day and hope she stays healthy. Thanks again for all your answers, may good health reach you all and your little ones.

Our little girl has been on pulmozyme since she was born and has no cough either. The runny nose is common because it does thin the mucus and since mucus is in the nose, it thins that too.
