Thanks for the info. I live in Upstate South Carolina . I called the local Cf Center this morning. The lab I am going to is the only one that they deal with when doing a sweat test. I appreciate it. I am very new to the Cf community. We just found out recently that our youngest daughter' s doctor suspects CF. Hopefully this is just a false alarm. The more that find out about it the more I see why she suspects it. She has chronic sinusitis and rhinitis. She is on anitbiotics constantly to no avail. She had her adenoids removed 2 months ago and has gotten no relief from that. She cultured for a staph infections during her surgery, and after constant antibiotics since then she cultured for haemophilis influenza last week. She has a constant cough that gets better sometimes but never goes away. Her weight is okay, but she is a good bit shorter than most of the other children her same age at our church. Our son also shows many of the symptoms. He uses the bathroom constantly, he has been hospitalized 2 with croup and. He has been in the emergency room several times with it. HE also has had his adenoids out, but continues to have problems. He is also on anitbiotics for constantly for chronic sinusitis and rhinitis. They both have coughs that get better for a time, but they never fully recover from. I pray that this is just a precaution and that they will not have CF, but if not we will deal with it head on. Thanks!Melissa- mother of Hannah 6, Riley 3, and Gillian 20 months
