We have the Smart Vest and love it. One of my daughters has the Smart Vest and the other daughter has the original MedPulse vest... same basic idea, just bigger. They both come with suitcases on wheels which makes them so much more convenient.
Before having the MedPulse vests, we had the Hill Rom vests (the original big ones) and though they definately worked well, they were so hard to carry around...
One things I have noticed is that we have had more problems with the MedPulse vests as far as breaking down and stuff, as compared to the Hill Rom vest...however, they have excellent customer service and have always just sent me a new machine with no questions asked. We've had them for 3 years and have had to get 3 new ones because they quit working. That is kind of a high rate of problems, I think... but as long as they are there to fix it, it's not a big deal. Also, the last time we had a problem they replaced my daughter's vest with the new Smart Vest instead of the bigger one she had before...I thought that was cool.
