how proud her mother must be of her.

I often wonder the same question. The answer I'm sure is extremely. Amy is bright and accomplished. Amy's mom is very often on the forum (amysmom). She seems lovely and usually offers supportive and kind advice.

If my children are able to become independent young adults and succeed at the rigors of both school and work (like Amy has done), I will be exeedingly happy and very very proud of their efforts.

I have also brought my children up to be caring and empathetic to others. To be kind to those less fortunate and considerate of ones with different views. To love rather than judge. When my boys prove to be young men of good character, then I will be proud.

I also wanted to add: Those of you chiming in and mocking her, having a good laugh... do you think that makes you mature and reasonable adults? It's absolutely no better than what you're mad at her for doing. And I might add, it makes you look like a bunch of 8th graders. Next time you jump in on anyone who is acting tactless, I'm going to remind you of this. Two wrongs don't make a right. At least before you had your good behavior on your side. Now you don't even have that. You have no place to complain about her if you're going to act like schoolyard children.

Nobody called her names, If they did and i missed it, please correct me. I also dont see anyone laughing. I think it is being called as it is seen. But i will tell you this.... if i were her parent i would be very proud of her scholastic accomplishments and very embarrassed by the way she portrays herself on this board. Its one thing to be a bit opinionated, but she is always the first to snap at people asking innocent questions or "scold" parents of a young child with cf who are just learning. This should NOT be allowed to go on continuously on this board without warning .

Okay, no names, it seems. But the other two stand.

Everytime she trys and tell someone they are not a good parent or not doing the best for their health, I chuckle thinking how miserable her life must be and how proud her mother must be of her. But then maybe I should not judge someone that is dealing with a terminal disease that is progreesive and chances are will probably be deceased in the next 10 years, sorry, that was a lack of compassion, but just how she views this disease in the litttle kids that have CF. IF she only had a bad knee to worry about, I'm sure she could smile more.

That contains mocking and laughing. And the post immediately after was laughing directly at the above mocking.
