Question of salty food with sweat test?

1) No, eating salt will not make any difference in the sweat test results
2) yes, it is entirely possible to have CF and not taste salty
3) yes, it sounds entirely possible that you both have CF

Best of luck with your testing -- depending on your sweat test results, be sure to demand full genetic testing for both of you (see my blog for full details) the standard of 40 and below is NOT accurate -- many people here have confirmed genetic testing and their sweat test numbers are in the 20's and 30's.

Thanks Alyssa! That is very helpful the comment about the sweat tests, and getting full genetic testing. I will remember that! Y'all's support really means a lot!
