Well, it DEFINITELY sounds like hypoglycemia, but I wouldn't rule out CFRD either.

Low blood sugar is very easy to detect the symptoms of, high blood sugar... not so much. Also if her sugars are just a little high they wouldn't really present any symptoms.

Either way, it's pretty odd you are having such noticable lows... usually they are brought on by exercise, etc.

Like findingher suggested, have some juice with that bagel and talk to your doc when he's back, there's a bunch of tests they can do.

So I went into the DR last week and they did a slew of blood work (details on my blog)

We found out what my problem is. A severe Vitamin B6 deficiency.

and

<a target=_blank class=ftalternatingbarlinklarge href="http://www.wrongdiagnosis.com/medical/vitamin_b6_deficiency.htm">Vitamin B6 deficiency</a>
explain it better than I could.

I'm already taking a B complex with 100 mg of b6; so I'll have to take another vitamin, but hopefully this will be an easy fix.

Interesting Chrissy, I hope the drs. can come up w/ a fix like that for my probs <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-confused.gif" border="0">, I'm going to the diabetic educator today (the endo is on maternity leave) to discuss what i should/shouldn't be doing.. I hope i don't have to start meds but it isn't looking to good for me. <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif" border="0"> .

I must have had low blood sugar throughout the years and didn't know it, neither did my parents cause i didn't tell them this, when i was little i would get all shaky and funny feeling, so i would eat a bowl of Rice Krispies w/ sugar on top. I thought Rice Krispies were a miracle food cause it helped me feel better.. Of course i didn't realize it was the sugar that was helping me feel better...

I hope that the vit. B's help you Chrissy... Let us know.
