Howdy! <div><br></div><div>I just recently graduated with a degree in Middle Grades Education and was not able to find a job over the summer (apparently no school in North Georgia was hiring). I will be subbing over the next year and will probably get a part-time job on top of that. </div><div><br></div><div>I will finally be rid of SSI, but that was never really the important thing. Medicaid was. According to GA law, one is no longer eligible for Medicaid when they have yearly earnings exceeding $27,500. Of course, this will not affect me now, but I plan on being able to nab a teaching job by next year and it will surely affect me then. </div><div><br></div><div>Here are my questions to those of you who have/had Medicaid and now are working: Is there some sort of exemption for those with expensive diseases I can look into? If you lost Medicaid, was it due to something like GA's earnings rule that I posted above? Are there any resources that you can point me to for more research?</div>
