Questions about ''The Vest''

Hello.
My name is Antonela and I'am from Romania.I have a little 2 years old boy who has Cystic Fibrosis and I have a few questions regarding the CF vest.

Unfortunately there is no chance for us to purchase one in Romania and also because of the high price we can't buy a new one. So we looked for a used vest on e-bay.

Could you please tell us what should we be paying attention to in this case. Is there something that we should ask the seller so we can be assured that the device is in keen condition? We're asking you this because the price is expensive for us even if the device is already used ( 1700$).

How long is the " life span " of this machine? Do you know any cases when someone purchased this device on e-bay and had problems?
