She was tested at Texas Children's Hospital. They first cleaned her legs off, then put this metal circles on her legs for 5 minutes to stimulate the sweat glands. Then, they put a small gauze with a clear square taped on top of it. They then wrapped it in seran wrap for 30 minutes. Afterwards the pulled the gauze out with tweezers and put it in a test tube. This sounds right, right?
I asked then how often they get a positive read and she told me very, very rarely.
