Random question about enzymes

I have a random question about enzymes. My son is still on formula so it's kind of irrelevant right now but my husband and I were chatting last night and wondering about enzymes. We know that they have to be taken before meals and snacks but we were wondering about before having liquids that contain fat such as milk when just having something to drink and not eating, should the enzyme be taken then also?

Pretty much anything that contains fat.....liquid or solids should require some amount of enzymes.

Some people dont do the liquid part unless its very high in fat like shakes or something.

This includes breastfeeding so not sure why you arent using them with formula!

He is on them for formula and in fact they just changed the kind hes on and I think they will be upping the dose when we go tothe Dr. on Thursday as he still has an oily ring on his diaper. My husband and I were more wondering just in general.

Yes, Emily has to have one when she drinks milk and two when she drinks her instant breakfast. The only time she doesn't need enzymes (for drinks) is when she has juice.
