Rash

Hello, I am new to this forum.I find this forum extremely informative. Wondering if any of you have ever experienced this. I have developed this rash on my chest and elbow. Could it signify onset of infection, fungus, etc...
I am probably just being paranoid, but you never know.

My first thought is that it could be allergic. I have had allergic responses to several medications and they always began as an itchy hives-like rash. Mine are to Penicillins, Cephalosporins, and Heparin. My rash to heparin never covered my whole body at the beginning, it was always in isolated spots (waist and bra-line, under arms, bend of elbows). Just a thought. Even if you are not on a new medication, you can just suddenly develop a reaction to an old one.
