so i started tobi and pulmicort last week. i've been on tobi before but not for a few months and never on pulmicort before. my voice had gotten a little hoarse yesterday, but i just did my tobi, took a nap, and woke up and i CANT TALK! No sound comes out just a little rasp! also my throat KILLS, it might be cause i'm swallowing trying to clear my throat...Do you get hoarse from either of these? will it go away while i'm still doing the tobi or will it last til i'm done at the end of the month? ahhhh i wish i could talk its my favorite thing to do!

I'm sorry to hear that you've lost your voice! I know that sometimes, when I'm on Tobi, I lose my voice, or it just becomes slightly raspy. I'm not on Pulmicort, so I'm not sure about those side effects, but in short, yes, Tobi does make me lose my voice. Although, I will mention, that it's odd because I'm on Tobi everyother month, and I don't lose my voice everytime I'm on it, it's just every now and then.

yes pulmicort will cause you to lose your voice. i have had that happen to me..it will take a while for your body to adjust

I used to use Tobi every other month and I would always lose my voice for about 2 weeks. Nothing but a whisper would come out, when it would gradually come back the 3rd week. It would really wear me out because I'd be trying to whisper loud enough for my son to hear me and that takes so much it would just exhaust me further. I always felt horrible on it and yesterday the dr. finally approved me not using it anymore. Yeah!
