i honestly had no clue frankie had died.... it was a shock when i watched the show when they payed tribute....im not quite sure how i missed that news. hit me hard though for some reason.

That's funny because when one of my coworkers found out I had CF, she said, "Frankie from Real World had CF, did you know she died?" I thought it was sort of funny that was the one person she knew about with CF - so I guess it's good that she got some awareness out there (especially to the teen/young adult population).
That's good that they recognized/remembered the two of them on the awards show.

I saw the season with Frankie in it. I was also really sad to hear about her death but I have to say she was the worst representation of someone with cf I have ever seen and I was super pissed. She smoked cigarettes all the time (at least thats what they showed) she drank, they never showed her once taking any medication or doing any treatments. Plus she was super depressed and complained all the time about having cf.
