Really, is she that ignorant?

A woman in my neighborhood has ruined my daughter's 2 year birthday party!!

Her daughter was diagnosed with RSV on MONDAY of this week. She then thought it would be okay to send her to mother's day out on WEDNESDAY with all of the kids that were invited to my daughters birthday!!!! She also went to the community playgroup on FRIDAY with her daughter coughing on everyone!

I read on CDC website it could be contagious for up to 1-3 weeks afters symptoms go away!! Our party was supposed to be on Tuesday. Needless to say our party is postponed.

Is she really that stupid!! I mean RSV is not another cold. It can be very serious, even to a healthy child. I called and basically told her we were rescheduling the party because of her. She needs to know not to bring a contagious kid around other kids.

Do you know if any of the other kids got it?

Yes, she really is that stupid. That's awful. So sorry about your kiddo's party. Kuddos to you for canceling. Just not worth the risk. Yikes!

Its not that she dosnt think, is it more like she dosn't give a flying fig? We had some 'mothers' like that at DS's last nursery school.
