Save those empty medicine bottles!!

We usually just trash our pill bottles when we finish the medicine inside. Malawi Project Inc. has a certain project called "Medicine Bottles for Malawi" The pharmacies & hospitals in Malawi normally don't have anything to wrap medicine in except for torn pieces of paper. This in turn means unclean medicine for the patients. They would be very appreciative of your thoughtfulness if you sent some of your pill bottles. You have to do something first, before you send them out. The process is easy! Remove the Labels - Boil the bottles in hot water until you can easily remove the labels & the glue OR use rubbing alcohol. Then box em up & send them to the Malawi Project for shipment to Malawi. The address to ship is below.

Thanks SO much for sharing this Amber, and thanks everyone for saving your bottles and/or spreading the word!

My husband was born and raised in Malawi and we heard about this project a couple months ago. I have been saving my bottles but haven't mailed my first round yet. I can't believe I didn't think to post the info here! Talk about a ding-dong. LOL!

Anyway, thanks again Amber! It looks like a great cause.
