We've been in the hosptial since Friday 2-24-06!!! Went in for a excerbation. Well after 3 regular IVs & 4 attempts for a PICC (using ultersound) the Dr. brought up a Port, and looking back at his records at his weight, he has been under for too long.......SO........ Reece got a Port & a mickey button on Thursday!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He did GREAT!!!!!! Of course he sore when he coughs BUT he is amazing..... He went in around 1:30pm and we got back in our room around 5pm. He slept til about 9ish and when he woke up he said "momma I really, really, really wanna play my video games" And he did the rest of the evening!!!!!!!!!!!!! AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!! The Dr. said we may be able to come home the end of next week......I pray that its sooner being that hes doing sooooooo well!!!!!!!!!! P.S. When family came by to visit.....Reece was asked to lift his shirt and show his tummy....he did .....and they said "what is that cool thing on your tummy?" Reece said "oh thats my mickey button" Like it had been there his whole life!!!!!!!!!! <img src="i/expressions/iv.gif" border="0"><img src="i/expressions/angel.gif" border="0">

We are home finally!!!!!!! We got home yesterday!!! Feeling a little over whelmed with two new things to care for with Reece. He soooooooooo brave and is my hero!!!!!!!!! What these kids go through EVERYDAY of their precious lives, truly amazes me!!!!!!! Thanks for your well wishes and prayers. Leah<img src="i/expressions/rose.gif" border="0">
