Well he was on doxy on Jan.21 for 14 days. His pfts were 40% then....he did well during the 14 days, his check up was great he had gained his weight back...actually the most he has ever weighed....50.7 lbs.. & his pfts went up to 57%..then about a week after coming off the doxy his headcold symptoms came back & his cough came back & he was really congested.
We took him the the children's ER & waited for 2 hours & still was not called back...so long story short after me going up to the desk a few times after I saw other kids going back that came in after us...we left.
So the next morning we called the clinic...I didnt know that they would be open today....hince the ER visit & got him in right away. His pfts were 30%, which he really was not putting forth much effort due to him not feeling well. We knew he was getting admitted, so we brought our bags packed.
So here we sit in his room probably for the next week....so we will be in here on his 1 year anniversary of his lung removal...which stinks...we were planning a big celebration. But we want him healthy of course so he will be getting 4 antis this visit...Tobra, Linezolid, a new one (which I will get the name of, something like flax? idk) & oral Bactrim. So they are tanking him up as his doc says<img src="">
He already requested an individual session in the playroom to play Wii or Rock Band...I will keep yall posted, since I have a laptop...which is limited to sites I can go on since its the CF clinics.
