So I got a double lung and liver transplant last November 2012. I recently got a cat for my birthday in September. We found out she has ringworm though. We have been giving her medicine but it seems to be getting worse. I know ringworm is super contagious so I'm wondering if I should take her back? I really don't want to because I've bonded with her and I think that would be cruel to take her back. What would you do? And has anyone ever had ringworm after a transplant? By the way, I'm taking Sporanox (Itraconazole) to treat/prevent fungal infections.
