I take mucinex - I like the 12-hour extended release version so I only have to take them twice a day. Take them from the time you get your period until after your chart confirms you ovulated. I also recommend the book Taking Charge of Your Fertility. Fertility Friend also has some tutorials on its site that should help you.
All you have to do is take your temperature every morning before you get out of bed, and record it. Over time, you will see a pattern that will let you know when you have ovulated. Fertility friend will automatically do this for you if you enter your temperatures into it. Keeping track of cervical mucus and using ovulation prediction kits will help you to predict when you are about to O. It took me a few cycles to get the hang of it all, but I find it VERY helpful. Good luck!
