Rollar skating with the dog

I saw this video clip on TV from Cesar Millan who works with dogs that have various problems. His TV show is on the National Geographic Channel.

In the video clip he combines skating with the normal 'walking of the dog'. I always loved rollar skating, but once my FEV1 started dropping, I couldn't really keep up anymore.

With my Boxer's help, this could potentially benefit both of us.

The area around my home is all flat-plained so that's not an issue, thankfully. I could just see it now...Me flying down a hill, looking over my shoulder at Sheila behind me. LOL! I don't really see a way to break my neck so I'm debating on trying it. Either it's going to work or you'll see an "In the Hospital" post, right!?!?

Has anyone tried this?

Here is a video from Cesar Millan in regards to what I'm talking about.

Here is a pic of Sheila. She is my 16-month-old Boxer.

i LOVE the idea! Your dog is sooo cute! I love boxers..they have the cutest personalities and faces. I don't think it would work for me with all the hills we have here. I say go for it.

My husband and I tried rollerblading with our dogs when we first married. We had two dogs at the time--a lab and a husky. Thinking of dog team sleds, I immediately chose blading with the husky. Well, we started out and our lab and my husband went shooting off. So, our husky tried to follow, but every time the leash would get tight and he could feel my weight, he'd sit down. Needless to say, we didn't get very far. <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">
