Thank you Risa!

My lung function has hands down skyrocketed once I started training. I took two weeks off of running and I can't wait to get back on the treadmill since I can actually feel a difference since I stopped. Working out has been the most important piece of the puzzle with my Post Transplant care.

Glad to see you are doing so well! That makes me very happy. I remember reading your tx story when I was getting listed for mine and I always find you so inspirational.

Stay well and breathe easy!

I will definitely join Transplant buddies!

I forget exactly how much they went up. But I can check my PFTs. I tend to save all of them.

If I'm running a short distance (like 1 to 3 miles) I'm okay to do a 9 minute mile. When I was doing the longer distances I was hovering around an 11 minute mile. I was averaging between 10 and 11 minute miles for Half Marathon.

At first when I started training I was sweating profusely. My face would get beat red and it was quite ridiculous. As I got used to running, I would start to really sweat around 4 miles.

I would definitely say through the whole training process, my legs gave me more trouble than my lungs. True story.

I'll visit transplant buddies!
