Salt Water

I started the salt water inhalers about two weeks ago. I would HIGHLY suggest it to anyone. The instant you turn the inhaler on you start coughing, that's how quickly it loosens everything up. I've been coughing up WHITE mucus, and I haven't had that in forever. It is truly amazing. You mix 10% Sodium Chloride witih 0.9%, and you inhale 4ml of the mixture. Takes about 15 minutes, but speeds up my Flutter by about 15 minutes because it helps so much!

I'm wondering - - evolutionarily speaking (dorky, I know) - - if this explains why people of Northern European descent are more likely to have Cystic Fibrosis than other ethnic groups - - for thousands of years, people surrounded by moist, humid, cloudy sea-water air???

would make sense why it was an adaptive gene and made it through - -
