At our clinic visit today, Sean's Dr. made the decision to admit him. His PFT's were down quite a bit and it's been a while since he's had a tune-up so we're waiting for a bed.

Needless to say, Sean was not happy about the news <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-mad.gif" border="0">

As some of you remember, Sean has had horrible experiences with IV antibiotics... countless failed IV's and several failed PICC's, so he's decided to go for the Broviac again. I'm trying to convince him to at least try another PICC but he won't have any of it <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif" border="0">

Fingers crossed we'll be home by Sunday <img src="i/expressions/praying.gif" border="0">

Oh, I'm so sorry. DS had a broviac when he was a baby, but had a PICC last summer. Think by far we all preferred the PICC. Keeping you in my thoughts.
