Seeking to donate living lung lobe

hello all....

so, i am a 34 year old female who would like to donate a lobe of one of my lungs....i have been doing some research for the past 6 months and have found three hospitals that perform living lung transplants. i have contacted two of the three (USC and Duke) in regards to my donation. unfortunately, while my offer is both open and fully aware, the program directors are not yet ready to accept anonymous donations (although USC excepts lobes from patients' friends?). and so here i am, looking to form a friendship with an individual/family who might accept such a donation. of course, the recipient needs to have one other donor (for a total of two lobes), in addition to myself. i am willing to cover all my travel expenses for testing, matching, and transplant. as for physical health, over a year ago i donated a kidney and have fully recovered, with my physicians here to see no reason why i could not donate a lobe. my tests were all healthy with my blood type as AB +, and i am more than happy to send copies of such documents to interested individuals. if one has any questions, you can send me an email at ambrosia.robb@gmail.com.

please know that this offer is most sincere. my best to all, may we all find peace and enlightenment...amber.<img src="i/expressions/present.gif" border="0">

Hey ambrosia. I've also donated a kidney and am interested in possibly donating a lung lobe. I am currently doing some research, and am interested in hearing about what you've come up with so far.

I am also curious about the effects of cystic fibrosis on the lives of people suffering from it. A lot of this info has probably already been posted somewhere on this site, but I am hoping people in the know won't mind posting it again here, as it can take a really long time to find all the bits and pieces by searching through the many postings.
