Sex Drive for Women

I definitly think that my lack of sex drive is stess related. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy it, I love doing it, but half the time that I am I'm not feeling a lot of sensations down there, and I think its due to the fact that I'm so focused on getting the big O - I think about it, want it, threrefor its always in my head, and could possibly be distracting me from just laying back and enjoying. But what other have said about getting creative is definitly bang on. Role playing, baths, even just spending the night in a hotel room (change of scenery) might be helpful.<img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">

Ok - Im also too shy to leave my name on this one. I think between breathing issues, emotional issues (depression, etc.) that a lot of the time come with CF that sex drive is a more often than not an issue at one time or another. Hubby and I have had issues on and off with this. However, I must say from a stimulation standpoint we read about a "toy" called the Rabbit. All I'll say is it was the best investment we made. Sometimes just "revving" your engine so to speak is enough to get things going. Hope I've been of some help. Good luck!

I have to agree with the shy cfer!! I have one of those too! I definately think that toys are something that people should try! there are so many toys out there that help out stimulation! It has dedfinately helped out our sex life!! I know that we are both still young but man... I like to keep it interesting! I also agree with whoever said the "change of scenery" i agree 100% I know that always helps too!! So there are lots of things to help get you in the mood! I also like going to the "adult toy store!!!" that always tends to get me in the mood! to see all the fun things and other people geting excited!! but hey thats just me!! Anyways, thats my input!!

Did anyone ever get a testing of the hormon levels? I just wonder: Having cf means, nothing is really working right in our bodies, so maybe the hormons don´t work allright as well?

I started the NuvaRing a yr ago. I love it! I was on Depo shot for 2 yrs and it made me a wreck. Emotionally I mean. I started the Ring and within 2 months I felt the difference. It's also one of the few birth controls that I can take some antibiotics with safely.
I love it and I highly reccomend it. And no, I didn't gain weight, I think I lost weight. But mostly I noticed the emotional side effect-none. And big perky boobs!!
