Sex Drive Question

Cialis, viagra, whatever...

It's like the pretty female nurse who gave me the free samples told me... "If you experience an erection lasting longer than four hours, don't bother calling the doc, call me first!"

I may be off base on this but want to put it out there anyway. Is it possible it is an overall health issue? Meaning are you doing okay lung wise. If you are at a point where you are starting to struggle it may also have something to do with an oxygen level thing. Just an idea other than diabetes.

I am a female so its a bit different, but I know as my health faded before my transplant I rarely wanted sex because it was to physically draining I just didn't have the energy. Either way I hope you are able to talk to your doc and find a solution.

I agree with Jonathan.

21 and no wood in the stove? You need a new girlfriend.

I am 21 with cf, and until recently had not had sex for about a year. Back then I never had a problem, but with my current girlfriend, I get aroused but not enough to have sex.</end quote></div>

If I could attempt to synthesize some of the previous answers:

You're 21 years old, and I am assuming you're a male (Dale?) in Florida (Fl?). You should be at the top of your sexual peak at that age. Lots of good looking ladies in the sunshine state. No sex for a year? Unable to become sufficiently aroused?

In my completely <i>amateur</i> opinion, it's more likely that the problem is with you rather than her. No worries. Just sit down with your PCP and discuss the side-effects of your medications before jettisoning the girl.

I'm not joking. If you have a Doctor that you can't be completly honest with (M or F), GET ANOTHER DOCTOR.
