She Did It!!!!

Hey Everybody!!
I want to AGAIN thank you ALL for your support through all of the hard times these past 6 weeks.
Today was the day... Erin FINALLY pooped!! They're starting her on food again.. she's up to 6lbs 7oz (the most she EVER weighed... remember, she weighed 5lbs 1oz when she was born) and it should really ALL go uphill from here!! <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif" border="0"> I honestly can't even BEGIN to explain how happy I am about all of this. Thank you guys so much for everything!

Woohoo!!! Goooooooo Erin, way to become a pooping machine (like babies are supposed to be, right!?!)

WAY TO POOP ERIN!!! I am so happy for you. I remember the first time Alayna pooped it was the most exciting moment.

We were at the 44th hour when Bennett did it.. I ran through the halls holding up the diaper for all the nurses to see.. I was so proud of him (and relieved!) Four more hours and we were going down that road! Good luck to your little angel. She will be home soon with you!

Here's a modified poem (originally written when I had my first BM), for Erin:

I'm one month and 15 days
Now here's the scoop
I'm on my way!
I made a poop!

I'm so glad Erin 'went'! Congratulations are in order!

We often mention that CF makes you appreciate the little things in life - I can truly say the day Coll pooped was one of the happiest days of my life! <img src="i/expressions/heart.gif" border="0">

So happy to hear your fantastic news about Erin!
