i dont know why its happening

has this ever happene to anyone, if so, what did you do to treat it?

Zara,

Of course I don't really know. As for me, many years ago, the first time I felt short of breath, I got all in a tizzy, called the doctor and rushed right over. He said that he had something that I would love and gave me Ventolin 12 hr (maybe it was called Seravent). He never mentioned to me what it was. I now know it was asthma.

I'm not saying you have asthma, because I don't know. But I just wanted to let you know that asthma has many different symptoms. Many people NEVER wheeze. Airway swelling or constriction can cause some weird sounds. (excuse my layman's descriptions) Sometimes I have trapped mucus that makes weird noises.

My present doctor has told me that a lot of new patients insist that they do not have asthma (she has even had doctor patients say this). That's because many people aren't aware of feeling the shortness of breath until the FEV1 drops below 50%. (that is what happened to me many years ago). Then when she does asthma testing, they are shocked when they have something like 60% normal function.

The great news if it is asthma, asthma is treatable. I don't know if that's what you have, but don't panic. Shortness of breath and weird noises doesn't automatically mean it is something terrible.

At some point, it will be helpful for you to get tested for asthma with pre and post bronchodilators plus allergy testing anyway, if you haven't done it already.

It's good that you already have an appointment. Maybe you should call them tomorrow and mention what is going on -- in case they want to check you sooner.
