glad press and seal wrap sticks to your skin so i just put a big piece of that over the accessed port and tegaderm. i usually use tape around the edges too just to be safe but it works long enough for me to shower.

We use the Glad press and seal wrap and wrap it all the way around our daughters body where her port is.

I bought some Aqua Guard on drugstore.com. It is WONDERFUL!! I usuall put it on and then use waterproof tape to re-enforce the edges to make sure water stays out. It comes in different sizes, 7 X 7 seems to work best for me. My port is located under my left breast, so plastic wrap isn't really and option. The Aqua Guard comes only around the dressing and I can wash the rest of my body. It cost $10.99 for 5 but well worth the money as far as I am concerned.

Layer a washcloth (cut to the size of your dressing-aids in any stray water leaks) and then a baggie over it (I have found that the heavier freezer bags work great-once again trimmed to size) and then tape it up (we just use the tape that comes w/ IV supplies).

Will have to look into this Aqua Guard.
