Well my fiance said hes been feeling very weak with asore throat, i have also been feeling as i may have an oncoming cold. our son has cf, but i am worried we may get him sick! <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif" border="0"> any suggestions to try and keep him healthy?

That's one of the toughest things as a parent...I remember being so very, very sick when Ethan was about 6 months old and my husband was out of town (and no one to help...well...no one offered!)...I called the his ped and the nurse said "well, if he's going to get it, there's nothing you can do about it now..." Gee, thanks for your educational information! I just washed, washed and then washed again (hands) and wore a mask whenever I had to feed him or give him treatments (basically...whenever I touched him! lol!). He, THANKFULLY, didn't get whatever I had (neither of the kids did). Good luck and hope you both feel better soon...and hope the baby stays healthy!!!

we just went through the same thing except it was my daughter who is almost 2 and I who werre sick. I called our fam. dr and asked for an antibiotic and bought masks and wore them religiously. Elli thought it looked cool and wore one for 2 minutes but other than that there was no getting her to wear one. I just tried tokeep her away and luckily he didn't get it, but was startinga cough for a few days so the cf clinic gave him and antibiotis as well.Just to be safe.
