My DME provider has been told by the Invacare rep that they have discontinued the Sidestream. Does this mean it's no longer manufactured or was Invacare the distributor and maybe there's just a new distributor of the Sidestream. Anyone know anything about this? Your help is much appreciated.

My DME provider has been told by the Invacare rep that they have discontinued the Sidestream. Does this mean it's no longer manufactured or was Invacare the distributor and maybe there's just a new distributor of the Sidestream. Anyone know anything about this? Your help is much appreciated.

yes Amy, this is what I'm finding too and Invacare are the ones saying it's discontinued. So I guess that means it's been pulled from the market?? I'll try to call Invacare today and get to the bottom of it before starting any rumors.

Oh and the Invacare rep suggested to my DME to check out the NebuTech HDN 8660 nebulizer by Salter Labs. WTF? I posted about this neb last night and agree with Chris and Amy's suggestions.

I have heard it has been discontinued. I have been trying to track one down for the longest time and, on the most recent order, I received an email stating that it had been discontinued. As far as someone receiving one recently, there are probably still some floating around, but I assume they must not be making them anymore.
