Thank you for your input Jazzysmom. She has been on Albuterol this week but the shakiness has been going on for about 3-4 months off and on and more consistently the last 4 weeks. Also she does the albuterol in the morning and she feels shaky around 3pm(afterschool). She also does pulmozyme, enzymes, vitamins and prevacid. I do know that eating does make her feel better. Thanks again, Amy

I would also recommend getting her tested. My first sign of cfrd (though as an adult) was the shakiness of low blood sugar. Make sure they test her at one hour and two hours, not just 2 hours at the test . There is also a 5-7 day continuous glucose monitor that my endocrinologist had me do. It is put on your stomach with a tiny catheter inserted under the skin (and under the quarter sized unit), and then they put a clear, waterproof bandage over that. I got a good idea of when my bloodsugar goes high and low from that- maybe if your dr. could order that, you could see if she is dipping low during the times she says she is shaky. One other thing I thought of is that I used to get the shakes a bit when my salt was low when I was a kid too. Either way, pretzels would help! I hope it's nothing but a little hunger, but better tested than sorry...
