Do you currently have insurance, if so you can get Cobra for 18 months, and if I am not mistaken since you are disabled they will extend that further to cover the 2 year gap before you can get Medicare.

my parents got me on an individual health insurance plan prior to my diagnosis, so i have my individual insurance even though i am in school full time.

i pay through the nose, but i'm ok with taking out massive amounts of loans to get the best healthcare in the world.
