I've been on singulair for years...as long as I can remember. It works great for me.

Currently I've been out of it for about a week, thanks to a uselss nurse refusing to call it in for me, but that's another story. Anyway, I'm really struggling without it, and can't wait for my shipment to arrive. It's done wonders for me.

One of my older daughters who doesn't have CF has been on Singulair for a few years, she had such severe seasonal allergies and was missing alot of school due to not being able to see out of her eyes as they were so swollen. It has worked really well, better than anything else previously tried and with Singulair she has no side effects.

the best way to know is to have her tested. We were pretty sure of it with my son because every spring his eyes would become so itchy and swollen and it would go away once allergy season was over. But we got him tested and he's allergic to LOTS of things that aren't seasonal...including dust mites and cats.
