My daughter's sinus problems got way out of hand last year, infection after infection and eventually she had to have sinus surgery. After 8 weeks of antibiotics (not including the multiple rounds of abx prior to the 8 weeks), the ENT said her infection was so bad that it would have never gone away on its own. I felt like I got the run around from everyone, the CF clinic, the ped. even the ENT bc no one seemed to think much of her sinus troubles. It was SO frustrating. If I had to do it all over again, I would have taken her to see an ENT much sooner to get the ball rolling sooner.
Anyway, here is an interesting link to CF Sinus info:

BTW - even with all of her sinus infections (and some ear infections) it was HERE that I got the suggestions to give her a nasal steroid (to help control nasal congestion and shrink/avoid polyps) and sinus rinses (to clean out the thick gunk in her sinuses). Those 2 things alone have really helped make a difference.
