James, I am a Boston guy as well. Actually about 1hr northwest. When they removed the packing(which really hurt by the way) it helped but I still am stuffed up and have the post nasal drip. Hopefully it will get better over then next couple weeks.

My daughter was a little swollen and crusty for 4 weeks or so. She didn't have packing.
