Sinus Rinses

My cfer is 4 and has been using Simply Saline for about 6 months (daily) along with Xclear (saline with graepruitseed extract which kills pa and other bugs). She got a major head cold at the beginning of this month and it just keeps hanging on. We started using the Neilmed Sinus Rinse on Friday and were AMAZED at how well it works. It just doesn't even compare to Simply Saline or other saline squirters. I think those are great for maintanance but when you need the big guns you just need more. They have packets that make the exact amount you need and they aren't harsh. My daughter realized right away how much it helped and even asked to do it again the next day. Hope this helps!

ETA: When I said we were amazed, we were amazed at the amount of mucus that came out during the rinses and we were happily amazed at how well she tolerated it, it didn't bother her one bit. We had her sit on the bathroom counter and lean over the sink so the run-off would go right into the sink.

My 5 year old does daily sinus flushes or we have SEVERE sinus issues-we have been doing them for about a year now, it helps a lot. I just use this thing I got at walmart that looks like a flower pot & it works well.
